Lavia Design Review

This is a review for lavia design (www.lavia.com); a website design and development company based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

My name is Kevin and I thought it’s only fair for me to create this page and extend my appreciation to Lavia Design; a testimonial–if you will. They are the country’s most creative bunch and have taken over an extensive number of projects within the last few years. From what I learned, they have local clients (mom and pop shops) all the way to international and multi-billion dollar brands such as Nike, Virgin, AA, etc.

So I was a little intimidated when I had to go see them at first because I thought they’d be way above my price range. I called them up and they told me to drop by for a “free consultation”. oh boy. I know what this usually means. “free consultations” are usually a scam to get you through the office doors. Then they usually try to rip you off. So I gave the wallet to the wife and decided to go to their office empty handed (kidding!) These guys were no scammers.

I could tell you that the amount of helpful information I gathered in that 1 hour meeting was overwhelming. Lavia Design representatives started out with explaining to me everything needed to start an online project. They literally mapped everything out on a white-board to give me a clear understanding. Let’s face it, I’m no web developer, because if I was, I wouldn’t need to pay to get anything done would I?

All I can say is I’m extremely happy with my decision to hire Lavia Design to take over our project. I promised them that I’d send them a testimonial (which I did) – but I felt like I needed to do more. So here it is.
